WILL WORK FOR FOOD! Independent, beautiful, healthy outdoor cats seek new homes! These cats have lived outdoors and have a proven track record as rodent hunters. They will work for food, and keep your barn/shed/garage or garden free of destructive rodents that ruin wiring and spread disease. They are healthy, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, wormed, deflea-d, spay/neutered, and eartipped to identify them as fixed and ready to relocate to your property. To ensure their safety and happiness, we place 3 or more already-bonded kittens and cats together. We will bring your new cats to your property in a relocation hutch, where they will spend 3 weeks imprinting on the sights/sounds/smells of their new territory. We will teach you about how to care for them. You will provide daily care while they are acclimating in the hutch, and you will become their caretaker for the rest of their lives. As they become used to you, they will form a relationship with you. They usually cannot be touched or handled, yet the bond between caretakers and feral cats is very strong and satisfying. You will give them a special call at feeding time and later, after release from the hutch, they will listen for your call and respond. Without new homes and a chance to work, these "unsocial" cats are euthanized. Please help us to rescue them by giving these beautiful, young, healthy cats a second chance.
