Cameo's Babies We are the children of Cameo and Timo. We were discovered in the sandbox in the rain at a church playground. Our mom had no place else for us. She thought it was safe there is the sandbox. The school called the Haven one rainy day and sent pathetic photos of us, eight, wet, sand covered babies (so tiny). Ray & Kyomi (Haven rescue advocates) came to rescue us. They picked us up, dried us off and helped us get all clean and warm. Ah, we were so happy to be warm and safe. They also found our mom and Dad. It was raining the day we were rescued and we are very lucky babies. We would not have survived one more night as the water was collecting in the sand box. Oh my, we could have drowned in our shallow burrow. At first we had sand in our eyes. That hurt! We saw Dr Stern and she helped all of us get well! Our Mom is Cameo and she is about 4 pounds. Our Dad, Timmo, is about 2.5 pounds. We are all hand raised and very happy to be held and loved. Come see us soon. Naturally, each of us has a most unique personality and we are adorable!. We are available for adoption at Rabbit Haven qdoption centers in Santa Cruz or Sunnyvale.
