Chai & Meg Hi, our names are Chai & Meg (AKA Ashana & Kailua) and we are bonded sisters just over a year old. We have both been spayed and are ready to be adopted into your loving home. You might be thinking two buns could be a lot of work, but we arent. The best part is we keep each other company when you get busy. We love spending time with our humans, but understand when you get busy and cant spend all day with us. So let me tell you a little about us- Meg (short for Nutmeg because of the brownish red fur behind her ears) is the shy sweet one. She enjoys being held and softly petted on her upper nose, ears & neck. I am Chai my foster mom says she named me that because I am a little spicy. I am curious and always on the move. I am Megs protector & designated groomer- at least that is what she thinks. Meg will snuggle up to me and push her head under my chest till I stop whatever I am doing and lick her head & ears. I love her so much I never really mind. Our favorite pass time is laying next to each other & snuggling. As cute and sweet as we are we need to share some of our must haves with you: We must have a loving indoor home with people who will enjoy our company & spend time with us. We are still young and active so we need to have plenty of room to run, hop & do binkies. I like jumping so a 3 foot high Xpen works best if you want to keep me in one location, but please no small enclosed cages. I do not ever want to be separated from my sister so we are a packaged deal! Our favorite treat is oat hay, but mom says that it is only a treat and we cant have it all the time because it will make us sick. We always have a ton of regular hay available and lots of fresh water in a dish. We are now on adult pellets and LOVE them! We do not take any more effort then one bunny and we share everything including our food/water dish and litter box without fighting. We are super gentle and have never bitten our foster parents. They feed us our treats by hand and we always take the treats softly from them. We are good with kids too, but we do not like quick sudden movements at first. Once we are familiar with your routine we settle in really well. We like to hide from each other and humans in our willow teepee that we share. When we arent lying underneath it hiding we are using it as a chew toy. We hope you find us super cute and want to be our forever home. We know you wont regret adopting us.
